| WE DECLARE THE 2008 REUNION A SUCCESS: 115 excited Cragun cousins attended the first Cragun Family National Reunion in Ogden,UT October 18 2008 at the Ogden Marriott Hotel. They came from Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah and many other states. The unique family history table displays filled the hallways, the five wonderful family history presentations were professional quality, the luncheon gave us time to mingle and create new friendships, the talent show entertainment was melodious, the 82 foot 5 generation 2,000 name Cragun Genealogy Family tree printout on the walls of the presentation room captivated everyone, there were 12 cousins 80 years old or more honored, 44 Cragun cousins participated as reunion workers, the 10 books on www.lulu.com were a hit and will be available by Thanksgiving- with more to come, the color family photo will be available on this website for downloading and printing at home, the auction was fun and raised some dollars for the new Cragun Genealogy Research Fund. | The executive board of the Cragun Family Organization announced at the 2008 reunion that the next Cragun Family National Reunion will be held in 2013. Details of location and date will be announced later. We had a wonderful response in our reunion surveys that supported a next reunion by a 98% vote. Those who want to work on the next reunion should email Russ Marriott russ@marriottconsulting.com. |

Cragun's three volume genealogy and history of Pleasant View, Utah and others. His committee will be in charge of genealogy research projects in the Cragun Family Organization and allocating the fund to those who make requests for financial and service grants.
